About Us
Learn more about Growing Hope Farm and who we are.
Growing Hope Farm is a Non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Our 50 acre farm provides a safe environment for learning and acceptance. A place where our farmers can thrive and show the world their talents. We host services providers, with a wealth of opportunities including animal care, gardening, life skills, and art & recreational activities.
Monthly Friendship Circles
Social Gathering for those with little options
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to promote awareness and provide opportunities for those with developmental disabilities to be a part of something meaningful. Our Monthly Friendship Circles are always a big hit! Sharing a meal and social conversation, followed with a game or activity in our Art Studio. A stroll through the farm to meet & greet with the animals and even feed them a snack always brings many smiles and laughter.
Community Gardens
Teaching the benefits of sowing seeds and reaping a plentiful harvest
Our Community Gardens provide opportunities to learn, participate, and harvest. We use only organic and natural methods to sustain. Our Herb Garden, has 12 different herbs for spices and health. We also have dedicated gardens for Roses, Butterflies, Fruits, and Vegetables. Complete with a central sitting area to rest and enjoy the fruits of our labors.
The Joy of Raising Farm Animals
Watching them grow is half the fun...
Watching them grow is not just about our animals, but our farmers as well. People with Autism as well as other developmental disabilities have a social gap. Animals do not put the demand on people, like people put on people. . Interacting with the animals provides positive reinforcement and helps to motivate Farmers to complete their daily tasks. Research continues to support the benefits of a farm based setting for people with Autism.
Art Studio
Where our creative minds can be expressive
Our fully stocked Art Studio provides many opportunities for consumers and visitors. We host Art Lessons from local artists, creative time for our farmers, as well as crafts & projects to generate farm funding. Our Art Studio has also proven to be a great venue for Corporate Team Building Events. These events further our mission to increase awareness and inclusion.

Volunteering
The Life Blood of any Non-profit
Without the generous support of hundreds of volunteers, there would be no Growing Hope Farm. We truly survive only by their hard work and support. Growing Hope Farm is so very thankful for the many projects completed by our volunteers including building animal shelters, equipment barns, miles of fencing, landscaping, painting, and so much more!

Fundraising
Through the support of individuals and organizations, Growing Hope Farm is able to fund it's projects to better meet the needs of our consumers.
Growing Hope Farm was blessed to become the "2018 Charity of the Year" for the local Walgreens Distribution Center. They supported us by setting up and sponsoring multiple different events throughout the year and then matched the total contributions at the end of the year! THANK YOU Walgreens Distribution Center!
